Yesterday, Gastonia gained some major attention as the daughter of President Trump, Ivanka Trump, made her appearance in the city for the first time - and it looks like she's here to stay.
On Wednesday, Ivanka Trump and her son dined in at Gastonia’s Webb Custom Kitchen for a “mother and son” date. It is reported that Ivanka will be attending a private event in Gaston County today.
Breaking news from various sources have confirmed that not only is Ivanka attending an event today, but is meeting with a realtor from Carradine Realty, based in Charlotte, to secure the purchase of a home in Gaston County.
Gastonia News Now had the opportunity to contact Ivanka Trump’s traveling and booking manager, Melissa Devoe for a comment.
“Ever since passing through Gastonia for a rally in Charlotte for her dad a couple of years ago, Ivanka has had her eye on a property within the city. I’m obviously not allowed to share the location, but the property has been appraised at a value of just over $528,000.00” stated Devoe.
Reports state that the home will be mainly used for travel purposes, as a midway point from her New York estate and her newest estate in Miami Florida.
“We think the filet mignon from Webb Kitchen had something to do with it, but that is also not something we can confirm.”
It is reported that the caravan of Ivanka Trump, which consisted mostly of her management and security, stopped at a local BP station in Gastonia. Owner Braheep Munfali said that he was “stunned and amazed” that Ivanka would make an appearance at the store.
“It was great to meet her, although I think her father is an asshole.” said Munfali. “She bought 3 White Owl cigarillos and a Red Wild Irish Rose. I was very surprised, but figured she was just trying to fit in with the Gastonia locals”.
At the time, GNN does not know the location of the property, reports state it is believed to be somewhere off of Gaston Day School Road.

Munfali certainly is full of himself isn't he? What a tacky statement, I'm sure some will think twice before patronizing his business. Such a lovely community to choose. Congrats To Ivanka and her family.
I really find that hard to believe referring to what the bp clerk said about Ivanka buying cheap wild Irish rose and cheap cigars. Citizens of Gaston county should be appalled at what he said, "maybe she's trying to fit in with gastonia people". I would boycott his store.
I think that's great to have the president's daughter to consider Gaston County as a future home
